Big I Maryland has partnered with MyAgencyCampus to bring online training to new hires in the insurance industry. Online learning is ideal for new hires and job changers and is an excellent way to fit coverage education into the workday. Our new hire training is on-demand, interactive, cost-effective and measurable. There are three main paths on the site, plus many curriculum bundles that can be selected. Power of 30 Seconds - Phone Training The Power of 30 Seconds is a training series designed to help you maximize the experience of customers calling your agency on the phone. This training has three sections that focus on workflow, soft skills and automation. Once the training is complete the training, you can take a short quiz and receive a certificate of completion. This training is provided by Trusted Choice and available free to our members. If your new hire needs to obtain his/her Property & Casualty license, we offer classroom and self-study options for the required pre-licensing course. Our classroom option is taught by leading instructors at the Big I Maryland office in Glen Burnie. Self-study pre-licensing options for Property & Casualty and Life & Health are available from WebCE. This program is designed for new commercial lines producers and account executives. Risk Solutions IQ (RSIQ) is a 10-week, interactive virtual classroom program where participants acquire new skills to assess risk hazards, exposures and coverage gaps while practicing their value proposition. RSIQ incorporates independent study with four 'live learning" web-session led by an expert mentor and providing extensive discussion and Q&A. The four segments are: Commercial Property, CGL/Products, Workers Comp and Final Case Presentation. |
